Well, the Red Queen has fallen under my spell and seems to think I deserve this:

Being as I’ve had an enormous blogger girl crush on her for quite some time…it started with this post… I must say I’m floored that she wants to grow up to be me.  Aim higher sweetie!

Anyhoo…I’ve got to pick five of my own and this is going to be Hard Work (to quote an erstwhile bumpkin from Crawford).

First, The Rules:

My picks:

Dr. Violet Socks of Reclusive Leftist. She gets it and is fearless in calling out hypocrisy.

Even though RQ beat me to it, I have to also pick Anna Belle at Peacocks and Lilies. Her life story, and how it informs her writing, which rawks, compels me to return everytime she posts anew.

Cathylee at Fiery Side is my bestest friend in the whole wide world and a great writer to boot. She’s taking a bit of a break right now, but she promises to return any day now.  When I read her, I hear her voice as we hash out the world over a bottle of wine.

Anglachel at Anglachel’s Journal. I cannot express how impressed I am at her political knowledge and her willingness to go against the conventional (what the hell is that any way?) wisdom.

The Red Queen at Elizabitchez. Yes, I know she gave me an award… and I know Ouyang Dan gave her one, but, she’s awesome. So, I hafta. (and The Rules don’t say I can’t, so there!)
