I think it’s been here for awhile

Two co-workers of mine got very sick last week.  Their symptoms sounded remarkably like those of swine flu. Confirmed now: Swine flu in Nevada (Washoe County)

    My son had the flu at the beginning of his semester at ISU, but I’m not sure what his symptoms were except, “I feel like shit, I have a fever, I can’t go to class, I wish I were home with some home-made chicken soup.” He got through it, so I suspect he had just a case of the plain old flu.

    I agree with you, though. I have the feeling this has been around awhile and they said that this started months ago in Mexico and was just never reported. I have one daughter and two grandkids in PA and I worry the most about them because my son-in-law is an emergency room doctor. As hard as he tries not to, he does catch what he comes in contact with and he does end up bringing those germs home with him. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they will avoid this thing.
