What is it about the Public Administrator’s office in Lyon County that it appears to attract such scumbags? The latest:
Richard Glover, former Lyon County Public Administrator, recently returned to Lyon County to face allegations that he stole money and/or valuables from the estates that he was administering.
Glover served in the elected position from 2002 to 2006, when Jason McLean was elected to the position.
Suspicion that Glover may have been stealing from the dead people he was elected to serve surfaced in July 2008, after families of the deceased persons who lived in the county complained to the Lyon County District Attorney and Nevada’s Attorney General.
The charges of attempted theft are a class C felony, punishable by 1 to 5 years in jail or a $10,000 fine.
In 2008 McLean pleaded guilty to stealing money from an estate which he was supposedly administering.
