Sometimes I think, why do I even bother? No one seems to be able to do anything about it. It’s not as though we don’t care. It’s just that the behemoth is unstoppable. Short of revolution, how do we turn this around?
So there’s your Week in Change: tens of billions more appropriated for war through supplemental spending tricks and without conditions or timetables, attacks on war opponents for being Troop-Haters, threats to criminally prosecute journalistic outlets (such as WikiLeaks) which publish classified information on the grounds of being Traitors, and a major expansion of the Government’s ability to spy on your private communications without even obtaining warrants. And it’s only Thursday morning, so think how much more Change can happen in the next two days.

ok so all this crap is apon us. i’m seriously in rioting mode. what the hell can be done about all this when the media and government are so off kilter. you can’t vote them out since more then half the nation is still going to vote for them and you can’t shoot them all since they are everywhere…. glenn what can be done to stop this? you are always calling out the crap but you never tell us drones what to do about it. sure i can write the shittard rep in my area but he wont listen. the media is so full of crap i can puke. seriously what the hell can be done about this. i’m about to do some stupid crap like suicide bomb these jerks.. so again what can be done?

If you take U-6, and add the “marginally attached” and “discouraged”, you come up with over 26 million Americans. 26 million who frankly have no stake whatsoever in the preservation of any aspect of the “system”: capitalism has failed them, democracy has failed them, law has failed them. What happens when the right demagogue comes along? What happens when 26 million Americans decide to burn the place down?
I AM A MODERATE!!! I attended a dem fund raiser bbq over the weekend. ALL of the local players (electeds party and gov’t) and most of the ‘activists’ claimed to be moderates…wtf is a moderate who is in a house that is burning down?
